The Ironworks has come on leaps and bounds since our last update back in October.
From the view from David Street, you can see how the sustainable timber and aluminium windows have recently been installed, starting on the first floor and making their way up to the top of the building. All the windows are on track to be installed in the next couple of weeks, which the Esh team will be glad of as the weather turns colder! The larger size of the windows means the rooms will be flooded with natural light, and the timber frames act as a natural insulation to keep the building warm and airtight.
The townhouses are also looking pretty different thanks to the installation of roof trusses and roof joists. In the pictures below you can also see the two gaps where the staircases will be, which can help you to visualise the room layout for this particular townhouse a little more.
