Holbeck Urban Village, where The Ironworks is located, is home to some of the best and most-loved food and drink spots in Leeds. There is delicious pub grub at The Cross Keys and The Midnight Bell, tasty light bites at David Street Café and Taste, and out-of-this-world coffee and cakes at Out of The Woods.

Although we can’t enjoy these wonderful places as usual, especially as we would in the run up to Christmas, there’s still a few ways you can support these important local businesses.

Takeaway

You can still get your coffee hit from Out of the Woods as they’re open for takeaway Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm. The team are proud to serve Darkwoods Coffee, which is roasted on the edge of Marsden village in the West Yorkshire Pennines and adored on both sides of the border. And while you’re there, why not treat yourself to a delicious Brown & Blond brownie?

Delivery

When there isn’t a worldwide pandemic going on, Northern Monk’s taproom is usually packed to the rafters with beer lovers who can’t get enough of their eclectic range of brews that are inspired by the North of England. Although we can’t gather at The Old Flax Store which is home to their tap room and brewery, you can still order their beers online to be delivered straight to your door. They’re also hosting virtual tasting sessions and brewery tours every Saturday night, head to northernmonk.com/ for more info.

Watch this space, we’ll keep this page updated with any additions and changes whenever we can.
