It’s all up, up and away on site at The Ironworks. Look up and you’ll be able to see the brand-new penthouse steel frames that have now been erected at the top of the apartment building. The clear-cut triangular frames add something completely different to the Leeds skyline and offers a lovely contrast to our neighbours, the cylindrical Candle House.
The undulating roofs – which in simpler terms means ‘wavelike’ – on the townhouses are also well on the way to completion and can now be seen on site. The shape means that any heavy rainfall will be gathered in the grooves seen below and trickle right off, so no need to worry about flooding!
Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for more updates from site, and don’t forget, if you’d like any further information on the 68 new homes at The Ironworks, get int touch with Linley & Simpson on firstname.lastname@example.org / 0113 398 0098.
